If anyone has a fix for this, I would love to know. I have a client who has 2000 and XP machines. XP w/ Office 2000 upgraded fine, 2000 w/ Office 2000 will not use the VPN connection when I need it.

Windows 2000 w/ SP3 or SP4
Outlook 2003, needs VPN to connect to exchange server.

Will return message "unavailable: retry, work offline, cancel".

It seems that the computer is using the LAN connection and not the VPN?

Anyone?

Below is Microsofts response but they mention service pack 2, I'd have thought you'd be ok with a later version but it may be worth trying.
