I recently reformatted my HD and saved all of my .pst and .pab files on another disk. I imported my contacts and address books, though only 4 of 5 were imported. However, while they appear on my Navigation pane, I can only access the Contacts folder through the Navigation pane. I can, however, access my Contacts and Address books when I open a message, click "To' and use the pull-down menu in "Show names from the". Any suggestions as to how I can access them in my Navigation pane?
Thank you,
Jeffrey

Items cannot be moved, re-arranged, or hidden in the Navigation Pane. It's either visable or it's hidden. You should have a Contacts folder at the bottom of your Navigation Pane. Do you see that?
You may also have two Contacts folders as well, in which case, you'd have to click on the Contacts on the bottom of the Nav Pan and then select the appropriate Contacts folder to view.
If you need specifics, search enter Navigation Pane in the Help Box in your Outlook screen.
Life is more painless for those who are brainless.
