Is it the case when sending an e-mail on behalf of someone else, if the e-mail in question was originally created in the person you are sending on behalf of's Drafts folder, that the e-mail will show as being from you and you alone, rather than as you on behalf of whoever.
Bit of a convoluted paragraph, I know, but can;t think of another way to put it.

"On Behalf of" means just that. If the sender generates a new email using that procedure, then that's how it's sent.

I should explain further. When the person is sending an e-mail that has originally been created by the person it is being sent on behalf of, and they have retrieved it from that person's Drafts folder, it is sent with only the sender's name in the From field. This is despite them entering the person it is being sent on behalf ofs name in the From field. However, if the person just creates a new e-mail themselves and enters the name in the From field it is sent as Person A on behalf of Person B.
Does anyone know if this should be the case, or if there is a problem. If there is a problem, what is causing it?

This is perhaps, a simpler way of putting it -
When the e-mail originates from the Drafts folder of the other person the user puts that person's name in the From field and it sends fine, but the recipient sees it as being sent directly by the delegate instead of "on behalf of". Does anyone know if there's a setting of some kind that needs to be changed or if this is how it should be.
As I said before, if the e-mail being sent is a brand new e-mail created by the delegate it works fine.

I understood what you were saying. That's normal behavior. On Behalf of only applies to newly created messages.
