I need to use my Outlook 2003 contact as a database list for MS Word Mail Merge.
When I do the MM I select "Select from Outlook Contacts" then "Choose a folder" When the "Select contact list folder" window shows up the only file is a contact list that is located in Personal Folders1/Deleted Items. This is a list of about 30 of the 400 contacts.

Are you starting the process in Outlook by opening the Contacts in the Navigation Pane and then selecting Tools, Mail Merge? That should then bring up a window that reads "Mail Merge Contacts." At what point are you receiving the error?
Life's more painless for the brainless.
