I noticed that the Sent items folder is deleting email that is approximately two weeks old. I have checked all user driven settings, including autoarchiving and turned that off. Still messages go missing. Has anyone seen this?

Did you check auto-archive for that particular folder?

Yes. And I've searched for pst files to see if autoarchiving took place and the emails are stored. But no luck. What is strange is that this happens periodically. So something is triggering whatever is happening. Very bizarre.

Have you checked your rules? Does anyone else have access to your pst?
