As a new "security" feature of Outlook 2003, you can no longer send / recieve Office files as attachments (so it would seem). Is there any simple way of disabling this?
Thanks,
Dan

Access files are the only Office files that are considered Level 1 Filetypes, which means, you can't open or save them. Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and Powerpoint slide presentations are are Level 2, which means, you can't open them, but you can Save them and then Open them.
There are Registry hacks to add file extensions to the "Safe" list, but if you're not comfortable hacking the Registry, I don't recommend you do it.
If you frequently get Level 1 file types, then you'll have to request that the sender just change the extension to a zip. Then you'll be able to save it and rename it to whatever it should be.
