Outlook 2003 attachments

Microsoft Outlook 2003 (full product)

When I delete an email in O/L 2003 that has an
attachment, does the attachment also get
deleted, or are they stored in a separate location
that requires an explicit delete?
Thank you

Tnx

The attachments are actually stored in one of the obscurely
named folders within the 'Temporary internet Files'. To find out
which one you have to run regedit, and look under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook
\Security. It will give you the location and name of the folder
containing the attachments. In theory they should be deleted
when the email is deleted, but if you want to be sure then just
delete everything within the folder.
