I have just transferred my mail from Outlook Express into Outlook. The import worked fine. Then I began getting a message when I tried to send an email saying Word -An unexpected error has occurred. Microsoft Word opens fine by itself but when it is called from Outlook the message appears. Now whenever I try and open Outlook I just get the splash screen and it locks up the computer. Ocassionally it gives me a message about starting Outlook in Safe Mode which works fine but when you close it and try opening it in Normal mode it hangs again. I tried running a scanpst but that did not find any errors. Any suggestions ?

Go into Outlook and remove Word as your email editor. Then close and restart. That should fix the problem.
