Outlook 2002 send/receive progress

Even though I have the "Don't show this dialog box during Send/Receive" box checked off, the "Outlook Send/Receive Progress" Window still pops up everytime mail is retreived or sent. This is very annoying. How do I keep it from showing up?

you say you have unchecked the box "Don't show this dialog box during send/receive" You need this box ticked to stop the box appearing. Try going to tools -> send/receive settings -> show progress. Take a look in here.
Hope this helps.
