When I press "New", a msg box comes up and say "Not Implemented". When I go to "File"->"New", I can't find "New Message". Ctrl-Shift-M will also give me "Not Implemented".
Reply, Forward and Forward to all doesn't work. I can't even export my pst file...
Say if i have to re-install Outlook, does it mean all my emails are gone?
O yes, one thing I did last night was to download some Windows update from the Microsoft site...would it have something to do with this?

Could some updates need to be re-applied, some will "break" previous updates. (thanks Mr. Bill)
Go to Microsoft's site and look for qfecheck for your operating system. It will verfiy updates that have been installed and tell you which are "broken". You should redirect it's output to a text file to make it easier to read. i.e.: qfecheck > c:\temp\qfecheck.txt
