Outlook 2000 is crashing

Microsoft Outlook 2000 95/98/wme/nt/w2k

Two users in my office are having problems with Outlook 2000. Both are running Win XP SP3.

On one machine, Outlook crashes when the user is trying to send a Word file as an attachment; if the file is in his networked folder, Outlook crashes but if the file is on his local machine (My Documents, for example) it works fine. He can send Excel files no matter where they are located without any problem.

On the second PC, when the user opens Outlook the entire PC shuts down. This happens 2 or 3 times before it finally works properly.

Any help for either problem would be most appreciated.

Start by recreating the user's Outlook profiles.
