Outlook 2000 freezes/won't close

I have various problems with Outlook 2000. Often it freezes when I send a message. Sometimes if I minimize Outlook, it won't open back up. When I exit from Outlook the message about waiting for it to exit never goes away and I have to kill it in the Task Manager.

Have you tried running the Inbox Repair Tool or doing a repair of Office? It might also be a corrupt pst. Remove your current pst from your data files and then open Outlook. If the newly created one works, then that would narrow down the problem.
