Hey all. I have backed up a .pst folder from Outlook 2000 and managed to import the email messages into Outlook XP (on a different system). How do I import the contacts without doing 'an export to .csv file'? I know it can be done, but fail to see/remember how!
Thanks in advance.

You tried 'Archiving' just the contacts folder to a .pst file and then importing it into XP. Thats how I have 'Moved' contact listing's.

You can 'copy' the contents of a Contacts folder to another folder as well. All else fails you can export it as a file, that import into Access or Excel for the transfer.

export your contacts to a .pst file then on the other machine import that same .pst file. I do it once a week to keep both computers Outlook information identical. I include, Journal, Notes, and Tasks as well.
HAsnt failed me yet
