I have files that were created in clarisworks for PC. I have a different computer and don't have a clarisworks program. How can I open these files and convert them to word?

There are some shareware solutions available such as:

I have never used them,
but you might try opening the file in Notepad or Wordpad and see what you get.
When you open it, there may be formatting information at the top of the file, make sure you scroll down to the bottom to see if the actual data is there, you might get lucky.

This one claims to be able to convert .cwk files and it has a free 15 day trial.

Thanks Mike,
I had tried notepad and wordpad and had down loaded another "free" converter, but the free part only converted the first part of the document. I tried Conversions Plus at the site you recommended. It works great, fast & accurate.Susie
