I need help. I have a old version of Microsoft Office (word, ppt, excel, outlook) it is office 97. I run it on my old windows 98 machine. I would like to know, is there a newer version of office, or just publisher that will run on my machine?

You shouldn't have any problems with Office 2000 or XP (2002). I'm not sure about 2003, and 2007 probably wouldn't work. How large is your HDD and how much free space do you have?

Older than what? There's 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007.
