OL 2003, FW emails skip Sent Items

Hi,
Here's is what is happening... (Using Outlook 2003 on a Win XP computer) 1) Open a folder containing stored emails. 2) Click forward to forward one of the emails 3) Make minor changes and press send. 4) Email hits outbox, is sent and then moves directly back to the original folder, skipping the 'Sent Items' folder.
More info: This only happens with one folder. There are no rules set up to perform this task.
I would like to disable this. I've looked through the 'Tools' and 'Options' menues but couldn't find anything.
