I have saved emails as OFT (outlook template files) files. My problem is whenever i try to open them it just opens up a blank email with the file name as an attachment. I am using Outlook 2003. If i open the attachment it will open a blank email and put the file name in the attachment again. This cycle continues on and on. I know this is some small setting so if anyone knows what it is please help. Thanks.

I'm wondering why you're saving the emails as templates in the first place? The behavior you describe is perfectly normal when saving an email as a template.

Let me append that last sentence...."when saving an email (that contains an attachment) as a template."

I figured it would have been easier to explain i saved them as OFT files rather then explain that I work for a company that uses a database imaging system and for some reason the emails that are saved in it are saved as OFT files. Either way, i cannot see how it is normal that a saved file can just open itself up as an attachment everytime the attachment is opened up on one workstation and opened up as a regular email on every other workstation. Any thoughts? Thanks.
