office2003 install fails error 1311

Hi, I am running Windows XP on my computer and originally had Office XP which I removed after a lot of problems (Add remove programs didn't work). I have been running Office 2003 Pro however everytime I opened an Office program up popped a Windows Installer message saying "The Installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it" and then word ,Excel or whatever would open. I finally managed to completely remove Office 2003 using a couple of Microsoft Installer tools however when I try installing it I get half way into the installation and a Microsoft Office 2003 Setup message appears saying " Error 1311 Source File not Found C:\MSOCache\AllUsers\900.....\A3561408.CAB Verify that the file exists and that you can access it." Any suggestions ????
