I recently bought a copy of office xp. Seems I made a mistake by buying the one for students and teachers. I realized this later when I got it home and read the back of the package. It says that you must be a student or a teacher in order to install it and use it. I am neither a student nor a teacher. Will I be able to install it? Maybe there is a way around this problem. Should I just return it altogether. I would like to able to use Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Thanks for any info that might be able to help me.
this copy is not a special one i think. Only the price is different . Initially, when u buy it, u've got to transmit to microsoft a copy of ur student card to get it back and activate it ,at a lower price than public one. No other difference . But beware, office XP has to be activate to run more than 10 times... and way of running it without that can't be found on this forum, it's a thing we must respect and i do
