I just installed extra ram and a card in my box!
Office activation has got at a bad time. I have 1 day to complete my tax in excel and I'm stuck! My CD drives are not available and I don't have time to look into it right now!
When I try to go ahead with the re-configuration it has started all by it self I get an error:
25003. Microsoft Office setup cannot continue because the installation source has been corruptedRetry does nothing, I have to Cancel to get out of that loop!
It then lets me click ok from here, finishes what looks like an install then leave me in Word but I can't edit etc..?
Will this go away if I remove the ram and card I installed?
If not, is there a work around so I can finish my work and I can fix it later etc?
Very big thanx for help on this?

Hi...Did you do a complete office install or are you running some features from the cd? First reinstall all motherboard drivers and the necessary card drivers. Reboot. Your cd drives should be available now. Your office may be looking for a process that runs from the cd but isn't finding it, thus the corruption error. Another possibility is that the office files were copied to one location and later moved to another location if possible try to copy them back to their original location. Such might be the case on a network installation. one last note, it is possible that during the installation while inside the case the cd drives data cable was partially pulled away from the ide socket. You may want to have a look at this.
Good luckFrank
