I have a user who wants to change the default save-to location in xl, from my docs to a shared network drive. I found the tab under tools/options/general.I changed the default path to the shared drive path. My question is, do I need to change the Auto Recover save-to location in order to ensure it functions properly or will a copy be saved to the original my docs location anyway? If not, what will the result be if no changes are made to Auto Recover?

Summary: Actually no anyone can save to the share. And she cant save to ANY mapped drive in ANY dir. Path is not overly long, and, in fact has no spaces. Yet I can save to that dir using Excel 2003 from my PC....
