Office 97 Updates

I tried to update Office 97 but a message came up saying that win2000 doesn't allow the files that need to be updated to have access. How do I change this? So that I can run the updates on my WinXp

I find it hard to believe there are any updates available for Office 97. What updates exactly are you trying to run? EEOC

There are updates for Office 97 on the MS site. Most were issued in the late 90's, but you can still download them. MIKE

yes.. all the updates if I can.. I have administrator privledge yes.. how do I unprotect the files that need to be updated though?
