Hi,

I am looking to buy Office 2013 but I have no clue which version I need. I am using for a combo of work and also home, so I am leaning towards the professional. Then I saw 365 and gave no clue what that is. It looks like a subscription type. What are you using and are there any good articles you can recommend I read?

Thanks!

What specific Office applications are you looking for?

This article outlines the different editions of Office, including Office 365 (a subscription service).

You can also use the Office Web Application via Skydrive, which puts Office online rather than on your computer.

On one computer, I have Home & Business 2003. On this computer, I have Home & Student 2007. I considered upgrading this one to Home & Business 2013, but haven't had the need or strong desire to yet. I'm not a fan of subscription-type services or completely online services. What I install on my computer, I want kept there working for as long as I desire.

Hi Xps86!

Thanks, I will read the link. I'm mostly interested in Excel, Word and Powerpoint. I believe Access and Publisher which I haven't used but would like to learn it.

Thanks!!!
