Hi Guys!

Recently I bought a new laptop for my husband. It came installed with office 2007 trial version which is now going to expire soon. Now we are planning to buy the complete version of office 2007 ultimate. Before our pockets get lighter by three digits, I would like know what difference it will make, if I go for standard version instead of ultimate? Most of the work is depended on excel, word, PowerPoint and outlook. Guys please help us picking the right stuff.

Take a peek HERE to preview Office 2007 Suites Comparison & Microsoft price.

If you are thrifty as most of us are in time of economic downhill, buy the Standard suite from Amazon for only $322.99 as opposite to M$ $399.95 (CLICK ME).

If you have $45 to spare, consider Office 2007 Ultimate full version which will give you OneNote 2007, Access 2007, Accounting Express 2007, Publisher 2007, Groove 2007, and InfoPath 2007.

Buy the Standard version unless you need the Infopath, Publisher, Accounting, BCM, Groove, and OneNote.

Give OpenOffice a try before you think about buying office 2007. The user interface and the functionality is very similar to other products in the market like Microsoft Office. But in contrast to these commercial products OpenOffice is free. But still if you are willing to buy it then check this one here.
