Now I have both office 2003 and 2007 versions on 1 computer. How can I unsintall 2003 without harming 2007? 2003 powerpoint and excel are still listed under program files...

When you say they are listed under program files do you mean the folder C:\Program Files or do you mean under the program listing in the Start menu?

Typically you don't see individual apps (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) in C:\Program Files, you would see a Microsoft Office folder and then a few sub-folders deeper you find the .exe files for each app.

If you meant a listing under the Start menu, are you sure they are not just short-cuts - shorts that don't actually work?

Assuming it's a valid copy of both, why not call MS support and get their advice?

Thank you! This is an Office 2007 Enterprise and the "product key" is with the CD at the office and that is about 80 miles away from where I am working this week. I have the Original CD/Product Key for Office 2003 version. Will MS Tech be able to assist me without the "product key" for the 2007??? I know just enough to be dangerous huh?

It doesn't hurt to ask! A phone call to find out is easier than a 160 mile round trip just to get the key.

What the worst that can happen? They'll say "No!" and then you'll call them back when you have the key available.

If you remove Office 2003, you'll have to reinstall/repair Office 2007. Just a note though, you can run both versions of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, but not Outlook.
