office 2000 and microsoft frontpage

I am wondering if someone could help me here I recentlly uninstalled microsoft office 2000 on my windows xp which was fine but i also wanted to uninstall microsoft frontpage 2003 as well but i cannot when i go to add and remove programs it cannot repair it, or uninstall it or reinstall it, it comes up with an error saying error 1316 setup cannot read from file C:\winnit\installer\FPIIN.MSI

i havet found any help on the web so far,and its taking up space on my hard drive as well,

I also tried to delete the files microsoft frontpage but it cannot and says it is in use??

hope someone can help me with me.

Did you confirm that file exists in that folder? Frontpage 2003 wasn't included with Office. Have you inserted your Frontpage 2003 CD and run setup from there to remove FrontPage?

unfortunately frontpage was installed before i got the computer si i havent got the disk either.

Which file where you saying about if the frontpage one it just says bin in another folder and that it, but the main problem is i want to get rid of frontpage thanks for link will look and post back.

I was asking if this file exists in this path: C:\winnit\installer\FPIIN.MSI

If not, and you don't have an install CD, then all you can do is manually remove the entries.
