OE6 emails dont go into sent folder

Hi,
Please can anyone help me. I can still send emails from outlook express v.6. But when i send/receive it come up with an error although it has actually sent the email. But it does not go into my sent folder, instead it sits in the outbox until i delete it, which if i didnt it would keep resending the email.
If anyone could help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.
