Can Office 2007 be installed without uninstalling Office 2003 and can both exist on the same PC? I have some macros and VBA work that were done in Office 2003 that I want to preserve. What's the best way to go about this? I have the VBA/macro files backed up. Any other recommendations other than installing to another directory than the default and making sure you don't use the same app from the two versions at the same time? Thanks.

yeah I've got both on my PC, run fine with no compatibility issues except (and I think it's because I have word as my email editor) when switching between word versions. You get the setup screen while it "prepares the necessary files".

I've tried it on four machines. None of them played nicely running both versions. This suite isn't meant to be run in both versions. I'd recommend upgrading the suite programs you can, and keeping the older version where needed. EEOC

Agreed. I've been able to have both Office 2003 and Office 2007 installed on the same machine, but they did not like it. Only Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 CANNOT be installed together. you must pick one or the other if you have it at all.
