Nothing in address book

Microsoft Outlook 2003 (full)
January 8, 2010 at 06:53:56
Specs: Windows Vista
Simple moving Outlook 2003 mail client from one computer (Win2000) to another (WinVista). Copied the .PST file and all the mail is there in the inbox as well as all my personal folders; perfect right? Contacts botton works and they're all there. Go to address book, shows "Outlook Address Book" with "no entries". Been reading all the blogs and so I checked "show this folder as an e-mail address book" under contact properties but still nothing in address book. I found a .wab file on the old machine but I don't think that's used. I think the address book/contacts is contained in the .PST file.
