Notes for Outlook?

Specs: Windows XP, Pentium 4

Hi! My question is... is it possible to have a note open on outlook calendar, and have it out on your desktop while opening other windows? What happens is I want to have a note out while looking at my calendar, or while browsing through other windows, but as soon as I click away from Outlook, the note minimizes. Is there a way to always have it show on the desktop, regardless of what actions I am taking? I would appreciate any help, thanks!

No. An open Note acts just like any other window. Unless you decrease the size of the second window so that you can view both, or use a desktop splitting program, or a second monitor, the note will not be an active window.

Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

You might want to look at Microsoft OneNote, or EverNote whichhas free version. I use EverNote.

Are you talking about Outlook "Notes", or about Outlook Calendar appointments?
Either way... I just opened a note, and then minimized Outlook. The "Note" stayed on my desktop. I did the same in a calendar apointment and it stayed on my desktop as well and did not minimize whn I minimized Outlook. This was in both Outlook '03 and '07. They will of course go behind any other application you open, but they are still there and not minimized. If you want them to always be on top, I do't see any settings to do that
