I used Insert==>Symbol in MS Word to include the angstrom symbol (an "A" with a hollow circle above it) in a document, but when I printed the document everything was there except for the angstrom symbol. I'm using the HP LaserJet 3330. Can anything be done about this?

Hi.
At my work we have the same problem with a different printer.
On the HP Laserjet, symbols will print fine. When we print the proof out on the Epson printer, we sometimes lose the symbol or it is replaced by another symbol.
This only happens with certain fonts such as Arial.
To fix it, I use another font such as Helvetica for the symbols.
So the wording will still be Arial but the symbols will be Helvetica.
Try highlighting the symbol and choosing another font and see if that prints.
