# Nested IF statements

Specs: Windows Vista, 128
 Dear all,Please help me to create nested if statements for below case:in the colomn G there are 3 digit number: 110 (candy), 111 (cake), 112 (lollies) , 113 (choco) and so onin the colomn A there are 4 digit number: 2100 (candy), 2200 (cake), 2300 (lollies), 2400 (choco) and so onI want to create formula like sounds like this:IF G1 is 110 then the result is 2100, if G1 is 111 then the result is 2000, if G1 is 112 then the result is 2300 and so on...=IF(G1=110,2100,IF(G1=111,2200 and so onPlease help me...Many thanks

 Keep going with your example. You've got the syntax exactly right.Just keep in mind that Excel has a limit of 7 Nested IF's.If you need more, DAGS on the subject. There are lots of websites with workarounds for the 7 Nested IF's limit.

 DAGS i guess means Do A Goggle Search?First time I've seen that particular abbreviation.MIKE
