When you do a Save As the current workbook is renamed.
So if your working on a workbook named August
then do a Save As and rename to September,
then the workbook, does not close, but remains open with the new name September.
You need to then either Exit out or Close the current workbook, which has the new name September.
So when you say but when I reopen it, it has August on that line.
it means you are opening the workbook named August, not the workbook
you just renamed as September.

Where are the workbook names located that you open?
How do you access them?
I would hazard a guess, that the location you access the files from is a Network Drive, somthing like drive P or Q or X,
but the location you are saving them to is a Local Drive, usually C.
