Comment: The multiple mailboxes system that my ISP provides uses the same domain with a different prefix e.g john@example.fsnet.co.uk, fred@example.fsnet.co.uk I want to be able to download only john@.. or only fred@.... However, as the Username and Password are the same I can't find a way of doing this with Outlook 2000 (I know Outlook Express can, but I want the different facilities - calendar, contacts etc) Is there a way of doing this woth Outlook 2000 - or have any of the later Outlook updates included this? Reply: (edit)creat a rule, make mail going to fred@... go one place and the other to another lick tools -> rules wizard to get to it. why not ask your isp to separate the 2 emails so that you may get 2 different accounts?

Reply: (edit)I don't think that you can have separate accounts with Outlook. I believe the concept to Outlook is it is designed for a corporate or business environment which assumes that the user is the only logged in user of the machine. I am using an earlier version of Outlook and I can go to Tools, Send and Receive, and just select a single account versus "All accounts" to get just the single account's mail. My machine is not set up as follows and don't know if it will work but maybe if you use different logins to Windows then maybe you can have separate folders in Outlook. But wait for someone else to advise on this before trying. HTH Bryan

Reply: (edit)I'm not too sure if I'm getting the wrong end of the stick here, but in Outlook, you just set up a new account for each e-mail address - I assume they have their own e-mail passwords set up by your ISP? Then just to the right of the send/receive button, there should be a drop-down box which lets you choose which e-mail account to send/receive. As mentioned by BIOHAZARD you can then set a rule for each account to have it's mail sent to different folders. "I know that I'm mad - I've always been mad..."
