multiple emails

i have been having a problem w/ outlook 2000 whereas i would be receiving like 2 of the same email everytime an email comes in...now its been increased to 3...maybe even 5 if i keep waiting...what's going on? any suggestions would be helpful...thanks!

Does this happen for every email? Have you checked to see if a rule has been copied to copy the emails?

I've got the same problem but it seems that the problem comes from my provider. When I go directly to the server, the e-mails are doubled or tripled and even more (up to five). That means nothing to do with Outlook bacause I didn't open it yet.I phoned them and they recognized the problem and asked me to wait 2 days... SO I'm waiting till Wednesday. I'll keep you informed.
