I have a client with one server and four or five workstations...On the server is an Access databaes i built for him, containing all of his clients details. each member of staff (at the workstations) needs to access this database at the same time, as they are all working off the same list and need to keep them synced up. the first one to open the file is ok, but thereafter the others get a Read-Only warning when they open it, making it all but useless to them. Is there anyway I can let them all use the same file at the same time and have the saves they each make all go back to the main file? i am running out of time on this, and am eager to get it fixed asap. Hopefully i have made the prob clear...

Well, i dunno, as this isn't really my bag. It was put on the server and each member of staff is tryign to open it at once as all i know, dave. I pretty much handed it over to them once I had completed the thing itself. if you have any advice, that'd be great

Check on the options settings in the database. There is one for shared or exclusive when it is opened.
