hi installed the newer messenger 6.2 now it wont open at all the old version ran fine but this one wont even let me in i think i must of ticked or unticked a box some where any one have any idea how to get up and running again i even uninstalled it and reinstalled but nothing new still the same problem

YOu shouldn't need to use an older version as the newer one doesn't eliminate any features as far as I know.

Just delete any shortcuts to the older version.

Hi, you can run two versions of MSN Messenger at the same time, one version of 4.7 and one version of 6.2. I do it all the time...it's allowed.
