When typing anything within MS Word, the program keeps intermittantly pausing every 6/7 seconds or so for about a second. There's a small 'L' shaped box in the top left corner of the WORD screen which I don't remember being there before... Basically it's driving me mad because it means that whatever is typed whilst the 'pause' is happening doesn't show on-screen, so I'm always having to go back to complete half written words.!! Arrgh!! It only seems to be affecting MS Word & WordPad, notepad and every other program seems to be Ok. So far I've tried to Repair Word, Re-Install Word & even Re-Installed MS Office completely... Any ideas please folks..? Many Many thanks.!! :o)

That small 'L' shaped box is part of MS Word's interface. It's the tab/indent configuration button. So it has nothing to do with your problem.

Ok... Whilst the 'freeze' is going on, at the bottom left corner of the screen (on the Word Console) it flashes up "Word Is Repaginating.." if this gives any clues..? THanks again
