I'm trying to fill table cells with color. One cell in a row has a complete fill; the other cells in the row have a strip of another color across the bottom. I don't see any differences in the specs from one to the other. Can anyone help?

After not finding any good solutions on any forums, I finally found my own solution, if others have the same problem -- I've seen some other postings indicating that this is a problem that others have shared. Here's a kluge - not elegant, but it works.
I selected one of the cells with the problem and under Format > Borders and Shading, I applied the shading color that was not completely filling my cells to the entire Table, by using the Apply to: pulldown on the righthand side of the UI. Of course that made all the cells in my table the same color, but it succeeded in completely filling the cells that had been only partially filled before. I then went back and selected the cells that I wanted to be shaded in other colors and shaded those, using the Apply to: pulldown selecting Cell. Although tedious, this ultimately resulted in my having all my cells properly filled.
