Need your help with this quick project.
I have a table (I can put it in Excel or Word or Access) with two columns. One column has English words; the other has Spanish words that are translations of the English text. The table is five pages and expected to grow to 25 pages of English/Spanish translations.

I want to apply this table to any Word document so that the English words in the document are replaced with the Spanish translations. So, if I get an English document to translate, I would run it through my table to automatically put in the Spanish translations into the original document, and thus ensure consistent use of translation terminology.

How do I make this happen for my Word files?
What is the best application for storing the table of English/Spanish translations?

Thanks,
-AEN

In case you haven't realised already this is quite a complex task, doing it via msword with multiple "or" commands in find / replace will be very slow, a nightmare, and unscaleable. I don't know where you are starting from but one solution would be to write it in VB, read in the word doc. The lookup tables could be in almost any format, access will be fine
