Hi...
I am working in MS Word 2003...
I have a 63 page document that has several images embedded into it.
All together, the document is 1.5mb
After page 30, the images no longer appear. There is a plain white box with a black border that is about 2 inches wide and long.
I do get an error message that says, "There is not enough memory or disk space to display or print the picture.
I have a 200gb HD with 160gb free.
I have 2 gb RAM and usually am using about 30%
I get this same error message if I have just booted my computer or if I have been using it for 10 hours.
I get this same error message if I have only MS Word open or if I have 20 programs open.
I have adjusted the virtual memory on my PC to "for best performance".
I have downloaded all the available Windows updates and all the available Office updates.
I have downloaded and installed two separate file conversion tools from the MS page.
I don't know what else to do.
I have researched this error on the internet for the past 3 days... there does not seem to be anything concrete to get my pictures to appear and get this error message to not. Thanks for your help

Thanks Jennifer... I should have said... Brand New Matrox Dual Head Digital video card (put in 3 days ago)with 19 inch Samsung LCD monitors.
So, I am not convinced it is the video card... This error message happens on every computer I try and open the file on... several work computers (PC and Laptops) and on several home computer systems... (No Macs though)Thanks CNF... The link that you pointed me too talks about More Ram and More Hard disk space... I feel troubled by the suggestion from MS that it is "More Ram and More Hard disk space"... I am running 2GB dual channel ram and a 200 GB hard drive with 160 gb free disk space... The images on the first 30 pages open and present fine (on any computer I have tested this on) and ALL of the images on the last 33 pages give the same error message (On all of the computers I have tested this on)
All of the research I have done on the internet over the past 7 days seems to suggest the same thing... I think MS does not know how to actually fix the problem so instead they say... Just add RAM or add Hard Disk space... Maybe my PC (not server) needs 2 terabytes of ram and 200 terabytes of hard disk space????? It is just really really disappointing that MS can not (or will not) provide a solution to this problem
Thanks anyway to those who helped
