MS Word Combo Box Items Limitation

I was trying to create Combo Box in Microsoft Word in OfficeXP/Office2000 both, but on the DROP DOWN FORM FIELD OPTION, its does not allow me to add more then 25 items. Checked with microsoft Knolegdebase and they article #306258, described only about the 'TEXT FORM FIELD' issue, but not the 'DROP-DOWN FORM FIELD' issue.
Summary: what i ned to do though is display the first item of the combo box as the text. so say the first name in the box was "Bob", i would want Bob displayed, likewise for David, George etc... ...
