I installed MS office professional plus today on my laptops. One running on XP and the other running on Vista. All other application seems to be in order except MS word. After loading, any basic function such as scrolling up and down freezes the program and force closes. Any help would be appreciated. FYI... Installed same program on my new PC with window 7, no problem.

MS word add-ins + EndNote = freeze.
1. open MS word in safe mode [hold ctrl key down while opening Word]
2. go to file, options, add-in.
3. select EndNote,
4. press "go" on manage add-ins box at bottom
5. uncheck endNote.
6. restart PCI was not able to find any permanent compatibility solution. Probably have to wait until MS or EndNote fixes this bug.
my new PC that runs on windows 7 did not encounter any problem because I did not have EndNote installed...
