Ok, When opening MS Word (as part of Office 2003) it opens to 3/4 of the screen height.
It IS maximized.
If I minimize it & max it again, it only fills 3/4 of the screen (height, not width)
It will not fill the screen. ALL other programs fill the screen using this method.
I've played with the window settings. I can click "restore down" & use the mouse to resize the window to be full. But if I click the maximize button, it goes to that 3/4 full screen.
OTHER NOTE! The Word window is indeed a full screen, if you could imagine. 25% of it is BELOW the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. I just can't get to it, nor can I mouse the window up as it thinks it's in full screen.
It only does this with Word & no other application.
Help?

You're the second person here that has had that issue. Can you provide a little more info on what components and programs of Office you have installed, Office service pack or any other info you might think could help?

I'm not entirely sure what the service pack is. I can say that there were no options selected during the install.
No other Office application does this.
As I said, the program is at full screen size, but 25% is set below the bottom of the screen.

You will notice it only does this if you have MS Outlook open at the same time, and in my particular case with it set to minimise to system tray. A fix would still be good though!

I've noticed that this only happens when Outlook 2003 is using Word 2003 as the email editor. If you deselect it, then there is no problem. In order to get Word to work again after this happens I've had to close Word and Outlook and then re-open Word. So far, the only workaround I've seen is to only send maximized email messages. This should allow Word to maximize correctly every time. If anyone else has more information on this I would love to hear it.
