MS Word 2002 highlights everything!

I work for a school district. We are currently using a citrix server for office applications such as MS Word, Excel, etc. Well, there are two computers that have problems with MS Word 2002. When you open word on the client computers, and then start to type, you get an automatic highlight. You get this highlight that goes across the screen every time you type. You can't see anything you are typing. Once you click off of the sentence, you can see what you typed. There are only two computers that do this. The rest of them don't. I tried going under options and unclicking highlight, but that didn't do anything. Any ideas???

Have you tried deleting the normal.dot files on these two machines?

where are those .dot files located and what are they called?

The file name is normal.dot There may be a few of them. Just do a Search and delete each one you find. Then, open Word and see if that took care of the problem.
