I am receiving emails as attachments that only open with MS Word 2000. The message is cluttered with encrypted path codes and when photos are included in the message body, it doesn't show them at all. My OE6 used to open attachments using "picture preview" now it only uses the "MS Word" which is a pain and doesn't show all containing photos sent with message. What went wrong with my settings before? It was working just fine with "Picture Preview" opening attachments, not to mention regular emails didn't need MS Word to open them. When I right click on the attachment the only options I have are to "open", "save as", or "save all" Please help. Thanx

what extentions do these attatchments have? is this for all attatchments ?
if jpeg gif eml(for example) and other attatchments are opening in word ...
you can change what programme opens the files by opening any folder and choosing TOOLS >>> Folder options >> file types
what happens if you save the attatchment to a folder and then open it? ... does it still open in word? If so it seems like a file type issue ....
