Does anyone know of a decent/cheaper replacement to Microsoft Project? I don't see anything offered by a couple of the competing suite packages by StarOffice, OpenOffice, or Software602. I found one for Linux, MrProject, and some online only packages, but not one that billed itself as an equivalent package. Similar to the way the companies listed above do for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete

IMSI (the maker of TurboCAD) has a product named TurboProject that you might want to investigate.

NoNags, a very reliable freeware site, has a program named "1PM Project Management" listed. NoNags rates this title 5 out of 6 "duckies." NoNags does not distribute Spyware or Shareware, so you won't be risking anything to try this program.

I haven't used either of these software titles, so please do not consider this a recommendation. I just wanted to answer your question that yes, there are alternatives available.

Best Luck,
Bob
