Hi guys, I work in a technical support environment and have a problem for a user in our system, which I cannot find an answer for.

MS Picture manager saves short cuts to a file (OISCatalog.cag) under C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_PROFILE>\LocalSettings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS%

In our environment, we have about 8000 users, and use about 100 front end apps servers and therefore have roaming profiles...

The problem is that everytime someone uses Pciture manager, it saves to the local machines, rather than to something that follows the user around from server to server, like their profile, or their allocated virtual disk space...

Is there a way around this??? The majority of the users have Winterms/Dumb Terminals and some hotdesk, so having the shortcuts stored to local settings isn't best suited, as no-one can keep their shortcuts from one logon to the next.

Is there a known fix/work around for this or a registry change we can make so that the default OISCatalog.cag file is actually stored somewhere useful??

Thanks guys, we're probably gonna raise this with Microsoft as well, but thought I'd ask you guys first.

Any help is appreciated

Alex
