in my ms outlook 2002 i cannot access my inbox. the message on the screen says "unable to open folder" i know its looking in the wrong location/path. Why has the path changed and how do i correct the path. please help

First, make sure your pst file is where it's supposed to be..

With Outlook closed
Right-click the Shortcut
Properties
Data Files
See what the path is for the "Mail Delivery" pst file.

Then, close that window and confirm that the file is where it's supposed to be. You may have to show hidden files to see it.

Then, reopen Outlook, and browse to the path of the pst file. Don't select the option "Open default folders instead..."
