MS Outlook 2002 is not letting me send a message from an open program. I am trying to email a .pdf from the open document and the error is the standard "trying to access email address..etc". Normally if you click OK you can then send the email to whom ever you type in. In this case Outlook will only allow me to enter an email address that is already in my contacts. It will not let me add the email address or anything. Has anyone else seen this and know how to fix it? THANK YOU!
I figured out this issue. What was happening was the program i was sending the email from was pulling an email address from a database. the email address in the database contained <email address> (brackets around the email address). MS Outlook did not recognize the <> so it wouldn't work to create a new email contact or send.
